Sean Flynn has 14 years experience working as a Law Enforcement Officer. He supervised road patrol officers and supervised the community policing unit in his district. In addition, he was the Police Athletic League coordinator. He currently serves youths as an educator and coach, and is currently with Plam Beach County School Police.

Joseph Lee
Board Member / Legal Adviser
Joseph Lee is an attorney in Palm Beach County, Florida. In addition to his law practice, he is an adjunct professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he teaches business law. He is a former City of Greenacres Councilmember. He serves on the Board of Directors and is the legal adviser to Cops Helping Kids Inc.
Michael G. LeStrange
Board Member
Michael G. LeStrange is a 35 year Law Enforcement Officer with extensive experience in juvenile crime prevention and community policing. He served as a road patrol field training officer, and with command approval, started the first youth boxing program in his department. He is the founder and former president of Cops Helping Kids Inc.
Robert Tutko
Board Member
“Robert Tutko serves at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office as a captain. He has more than 25 years experience and serves in Corrections Court Security. He has volunteered in many humanitarian projects and is involved with the Glades PAL Youth Boxing Program. He enjoys helping the underprivileged and serving people. He is a tremendous asset to our organization”.
Glenn Romstadt
Board Member
Glenn Romstadt is a 37 year Law Enforcement Officer and served in many divisions through his two state policing career. He gives his time and has volunteered in Belle Glade, Florida at the youth boxing program, and has been a mentor on field trips and youth athletic competitions.
Mark E. Essary
Board Member
Mark E. Essary is a 35 year Law Enforcement Officer who has supervised road patrol officers, as well as community services division. He worked with youths in the explorer program, was a foster parent for 10 years, and mentors kids regularly. In addition to serving on the Board, he is the organization Chaplin.

Rolando Silva, Esq
Board Member
Rolando Silva currently serves in the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office as a captain in Wellington Florida. He has over 30 years of law enforcement experience. His law enforcement background is diverse. He is a strong proponent of juvenile crime prevention and helping the underprivileged to succeed. When Capt. Silva was the commander for the Glades region, he volunteered at the Police Athletic League youth center, spending quality time with kids using athletics and education to help them prosper. He continues to help children in his present assignment. Helping children has always been a high priority with him, and we are honored to have Rolando serve on the Cops Helping Kids Inc. Board of Directors.
Tristram Moore
Board Member
Tristram Moore is a 18 year Law Enforcement Officer. He is now the Captain for the city of Greenacres District 16. In addition, he has served in many divisions in his career, supervisor of Road Patrol Officers and Violent Crime Detectives. In his non working hours he coaches and is a mentor to at-risk youths. He enjoys giving to the community both on and off duty, and serves on our Board of Directors.
Teri Barbera

Director of Bureau of Public Affairs /Public Information Officer | Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office
Teri is a 35-year veteran of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. She has worked in various divisions at the Sheriff’s Office including, Booking/Inmates Records, Work Release/In-House Arrest, Corrections Administration, Off Duty Employment, Human Resources and Media Relations now known as the Bureau of Public Affairs. Teri has spent the majority of her career in the Bureau of Public Affairs.
In 2008, Teri was selected by Sheriff Ric Bradshaw to head the Media Relations Office. She is currently the Bureau Director/Public Information Officer. The Bureau of Public Affairs is comprised of Public Information, Social Media, Video Unit, Graphics Unit, Community Outreach Coordinators, the Agency Awards program/Retirement program, Agency Historian, the Agency website, the Volunteer Unit, Reserve Deputy Program, Agency Support Services and the Therapy K9 Unit.
Teri is the President of CO-OP. A group designed to improve communication and develop professional relationships among governmental agencies and the media. The members include Public Information Officers from city, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, fire rescue departments, hospitals, courts, health organizations, emergency management, local utilities, city and county governments, and the print and television media.
Teri holds a Bachelor of Public Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Barry University. Teri is married to Nick and has two daughters, Britany, 34 years old and Brooke, 28 years old.
Marti Pearson

Marti Pearson is a bookkeeper/accountant for Roderick C. Moe CPA, P.A. in Palm Beach County, Florida and has worked for the firm for more than 11 years. She enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering and using her skills to assist Cops Helping Kids Inc and other non-profit organizations by maintaining their financials; obtaining grants and keeping their non-profit status current.
